John's legal practice includes Family Law, Litigation, Property Management Law and Estate Planning with the firm.

A native of Buffalo, New York, John graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Law and Jurisprudence from Niagara University in 2002. In college, he was twice honored for excellence in moot court competitions and drafted a comparative analysis of specialized courts for his Honors Thesis.

John attended The State University of New York at Buffalo for law school. He graduated in 2005 with a concentration in Civil Litigation and an estimated top 25% class rank. He served as Executive Director of the law school's Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Board and was inducted into The Order of Barristers. During law school, John broadened his legal experience by working at a large firm in Buffalo for two years and completing an externship with the office of a United States Senator.

John was admitted to practice law in the state courts of North Carolina in 2006. He is also admitted to the North Carolina Eastern and Middle District federal courts. His professional memberships include the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Orange County Family Law Association, the Durham Family Law Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association.

John lives in Raleigh with his wife, daughter and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Henry and Lola.
